May Arboretum Society Will Host the Bird Watching Guided Walking Tour in the Arboretum
On Sunday, September 13, 2015 at 8:00am at the Ranch House – 1595 North Sierra Street, Reno, Nevada – all visitors will observe different bird species and other wildlife through a guided tour by members of the Lahontan Audubon Society.

You’ll observe different bird species and other wildlife through a guided tour by members of the Lahontan Audubon Society. With more than 13 acres – the Arboretum’s habitats of wetlands, woodlands and gardens make for a great opportunity to view the plethora of birds that call the Arboretum “home”.</p>
<p><strong>Cost for members</strong> of the May Arboretum Society or the Lahontan Audubon Society to attend: Free;</p>
<p><strong>Cost for non-members</strong> to attend: $5.</p>
<p><strong>Speakers:</strong> The Lahontan Audubon Society (LAS) is a chapter of the National Audubon Society and is based in Reno. The LAS serves all of northwestern Nevada, representinga membership of more than 1,300 conservation-minded individuals and families. Their mission is to help restore, preserve, and improve habitat for birds and other wildlife and to provide education about birds and their habitats in Nevada and adjacent areas of California.</p>
<p>The May Arboretum Society is a non-profit organization whose mission is to support theoperations and sustainability of the Arboretum.</p>
